Exhibits

The UW Anthropology Museum regularly hosts exhibits of our collections in two parts of Centennial Hall's 4th floor: two large display windows next to the escalators, and two exhibit cases in the Pitcairn Learning Commons. Just like our collections, our exhibits cover a world of themes ranging from tea to Thai music to the Piltdown hoax.

Our current exhibits can be accessed by clicking on each location below. You never know what you’re going to find in our displays, so check back often!

Online Exhibits and Media

To keep sharing collections, objects, and stories with you while our exhibit cases are under renovation, the Anthropology Museum will be curating a series of exhibits and media featuring our collections and staff. Our online exhibits and media page will be updated with new and exciting ways to view our collections remotely.

Exhibit Cases (Pitcairn Learning Commons, Centennial Hall 4th-Floor Mezzanine)

Exhibit Cases (Pitcairn Learning Commons) Our exhibit cases are home to smaller curated displays of artifacts and enthnographic objects. Take one in during your next study break.

Display Windows (Centennial Hall, 4th-Floor)

Our display windows next to the Centennial Hall escalators are where we feature larger, thematic displays of some of our most interesting pieces.
