Learn Nexus at upcoming Lunch n’ Learns hosted by PACE

PACE is hosting a series of lunch n’ learns open to all UWinnipeg faculty and staff. If you are interested in learning more about Nexus tools, specifically the Rubric tool and the Annotating Assignments Feedback features, consider attending:

Wednesday, March 10, 12:00 – 1:00 pm: Learn about the Nexus Rubrics tool: how to set up a Nexus rubric, connect it to an assignment, and use it in grading.

We always recommend that assignment rubrics are shared in advance with students, that way students know what they are going to be assessed on.  The Nexus Rubric feature does that, as well as allowing instructors to easily provide students with their score on the assignment. Register now.

Wednesday, March 24, 12:00 – 1:00 pm: Learn about the Nexus Feedback Annotation feature, an alternative to downloading assignments to add comments. Marks are only one part of feedback, providing comments on assignments so that students learn and improve is the other part. Using Feedback Annotation can provide that feature directly in Nexus where it is visible to students without downloading the file. Register now.
