Application Procedure

Inbound Exchange

1.  Nomination:   Be nominated by your home institution's study abroad/mobility office.  Nominations should be emailed to Jennifer Michaluk, Internatioal Admissions Coordinator,  

Nominations should contain students full name, term/terms of the exchange, program at home institution,  birthdate and email address.

PLEASE NOTE:  Extensions to study period will not be accepted once nomination has been submitted.  If you are considering attending for 2 terms, please have your study abroad/mobility office nominate for 2 terms.

2.  Application:  Complete the online Application Form.  Under "Application Type" select "Exchange".  

You do not have to pay the application fee, it is waived for exchange students.

3.  Academic Documents:  Have your home university submit scans of your university transcript and English Language Proficiency via email to .

Note:  A scan of your high school transcript is only required when a mathematics, chemistry or physics pre-requisite is needed.

4.  English Language Requirement:  Submit proof of English Language Proficiency

Once your application has been received it will be reviewed to make sure you meet the eligibility criteria.  Once your application has been reviewed, you will be notified with the next steps of your UWinnipeg exchange.
