Application Procedure

Inbound Exchange


1.  Nomination:   Be nominated by your home institution's study abroad/mobility office.  Nominations should be emailed to Jennifer Michaluk, je.michaluk@uwinnipeg.ca.  

Nominations should contain students full name, term/terms of the exchange, program at home institution,  birthdate and email address.

PLEASE NOTE:  Extensions to study period will not be accepted once nomination has been submitted.  If you are considering attending for 2 terms, please have your study abroad/mobility office nominate for 2 terms.

2.  Application:  Complete the online Application Form.  Under "Application Type" select "Exchange".  

You do not have to pay the application fee, it is waived for exchange students.

3.  Academic Documents:  Have your home univerisity submit scans of your university transcript and English Language Proficiency via email to exchange@uwinnipeg.ca .

Note:  A scan of your high school transcript is only required when a mathematics, chemistry or physics pre-requisite is needed.

4.  English Lanuage Requirement:  Submit proof of English Language Proficiency

Onceyour applicationhas been received it will be reviewed by Admissions to make sure you meet the elegibility criteria.  Admissions will notify you with the next steps once your application has been reviewed.
