Toybox Initiative Unveils New App
Partially funded by Experiential Learning grants, the UWinnipeg Toybox Initiative launched their new interactive app last Friday.
The project is led by professor Sheri-Lynn Skwarchuk from UWinnipeg's Faculy of Education, with the goal of providing simple, at-home educational strategies targeting numeracy, literacy and wellness for kids from ages two to eight.
The app was curated and edited by UWinnipeg Education undergraduates, and designed in collaboration with students from Maples Collegiate (graphics) and Sisler High School (app development,) as part of a for-credit high school initiative.
