Biography:

I am currently Dean of Graduate Studies at the University of Winnipeg, with an underlying appointment as Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences.

Most of my recent writing is about how environmental issues connect to culture—music especially. For up-to-date publications and activities, visit kyledevine.info. 

Background

Before joining the University of Winnipeg in 2025, I spent ten years at the University of Oslo, where I worked in music and environmental humanities. Before that, I taught at the City University of London and Worcester College, University of Oxford.
