If you are undecided and not sure what to take, one approach is to fulfill some of your General Degree Requirements for your degree* in your first year.��

You could follow this formula:

Choose 2 or 3 courses that count towards your General Degree Requirements:

take an Academic Writing course and/or
Humanities Requirement, like History or English and/or
Science Requirement, like Biology or Geography (physical)

+ Add 1 or 2 courses of interest to round out your first year

maybe an introductory course in a possible major
or course(s) in the social sciences, like Anthropology, Psychology or Sociology
