Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC)

Trudie Broderick worked in the International Affairs and Human Rights department at the Native Women's Association of Canada (NWAC) in Ottawa. NWAC is a national organization providing political leadership and voice to Aboriginal women in Canada.

Trudie's understanding of the issues impacting Aboriginal women and girls was deepened from her time spent at NWAC and from her research into violence against Aboriginal women and girls with a particular focus on prostitution and human trafficking.
