Marketing and Communications

The University of Winnipeg Marketing & Communications department provides strategic guidance and assumes overall responsibility for all aspects of the University’s communications, media and marketing initiatives. The department works to build and maintain brand recognition for UWinnipeg, while conveying the institution’s key messaging and information in a consistent, compelling, and effective way to multiple audiences within the broader UWinnipeg community. UWinnipeg's Marketing and Communications department develops and distributes media releases to news outlets and also helps connect members of the media with expert sources and members of our faculty and administration.

The department reports directly to Senior Executive Officer and Advisor to the President, Chris Minaker.
