Dr. Saad Khan Receives the 2025–2026 University of Manitoba Graduate Students’ Association Teaching Award

We are excited to congratulate Dr. Saad Khan on receiving the 2025–2026 University of Manitoba Graduate Students’ Association (UMGSA) Teaching Award! This award recognizes individuals who, in the view of their graduate students, have made a significant contribution to the teaching profession.

Dr. Khan serves as Chair of the Joint Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies Program, housed in Global College, and also teaches Human Rights at the undergraduate level. This year marks the first time that a member of the University of Winnipeg’s teaching faculty has received this award.

Congratulations to Dr. Khan on this well-deserved recognition of his commitment to teaching excellence and the care he brings to supporting his students.
