Dr. Kristi Kenyon Attends CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars All Cohorts Meeting

Dr. Kristi Kenyon recently participated in the CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars All Cohorts Meeting in Halifax, bringing together nearly 20 years of scholars across the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Now an alumnus, Dr. Kenyon was one of 15 emerging scholars from around the world awarded in the 2017-2019 cohort. She stayed on in Halifax for a research meeting on the project "Combatting Stigma and Social Isolation Among People in Ghana Living with Lymphatic Filariasis Through Culturally Appropriate Interventions" (read more about the project here and here), which was sparked by a CIFAR connection. She met with co-PI on the project, Dr. Alexander Kwarteng, also a CIFAR alumnus, and colleagues Dr. Jonathan Roberts and Lily Agyare.
