MDP Director Dr. Cidro appointed AVP, Research and Innovation

The University of Winnipeg has appointed Dr. Jaime Cidro to the role of Associate Vice-President, Research and Innovation. The new position will support the continuing success of UWinnipeg’s research program and strengthen the Research Office’s support to faculty while helping develop new policies.
In her new role, Dr. Cidro will also develop and implement Indigenous research protocols; be accountable for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within the research ecosystem; and work to enhance the broader community’s understanding of the research taking place at UWinnipeg.
