The Success and Challenge of a Binational Community in Israel

Featuring Vered Marom and Samah Salaime

Wahat al-Salam/Neve Shalom/Oasis of Peace is an intentional community jointly established by Jewish and Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel, between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Its members strive toward a community based on mutual acceptance, respect, and cooperation in the context of political and social conflict. Two members of the community will discuss their experiences in this challenging venture.
