About:

Dr. Ross Stokke grew up in Winnipeg, and obtained his degrees from the University of Manitoba and the University of Alberta.

His research is in the areas of abstract harmonic analysis and functional analysis. More specifically, he studies locally compact groups, their unitary representations, and a variety of associated Banach algebras. The nature of this branch of mathematics is both algebraic and analytic.
