About:

Dr. Peter Miller is an Assistant Professor in the Classics department at The University of Winnipeg. He received his PhD from the University of Western Ontario in 2014 and has held teaching and research positions at Mount Allison University and Texas Tech University.

A recipient of a Governor-General's Academic Gold Medal, Miller's research, which has appeared most recently in the journals Helios and Syllecta Classica, focuses on the intersection between literature and culture in the ancient world and the origins and modern reception of ancient Greek culture, particularly athletics.
