The Duff Roblin Scholars Fund

In 2007, 40 years after Premier Roblin signed the Charter that granted university status to the former United College, The University of Winnipeg honoured Duff Roblin with the creation of The Duff Roblin Scholars Fund. This fund would anchor and enhance the governance potential of the next generation of Manitobans and contribute to a future of hope for all people of Manitoba by providing Graduate Student Fellowships in Indigenous Governance.

Since that time, it has expanded to also support students in UWinnipeg’s unique and innovative Master’s in Development Practice: Indigenous Development (MDP) program. Having received this important financial support, students graduate equipped with the skills and passion to effect positive change in their communities and around the globe.
