The University of Winnipeg is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all members of our community, with equal access and participation for everyone.

We adhere to the Province of Manitoba Accessible Information and Communication Standard Regulation, which requires that our web content must meet World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) 2.1. Level AA Internet standards. Our goal is to meet or exceed that standard.

As part of our regular practice, we continue to work with partners to ensure ongoing updates and improvements to website accessibility. We ensure with our vendors that any new web development we take on meet accessibility standards. Best practices on building accessible pages is included as part of content editor training, and we also use website quality assurance tools to monitor and correct accessibility issues as we find them.
