Brandon University/ Indigenous Cybersecurity

Emeka Ezeh worked with Sarah Polsker and Dr Gautam Srivastava of Brandon University on the Indigenization of Cybersecurity. The goal of this project is to carry out community engagement initiative with First Nations community in Western Manitoba. The campaign includes knowledge-sharing activities centered on cybersecurity and aimed towards the general population. This preliminary examination of our educational initiative focuses on the conceptual analysis and planning phases. We developed informational and promotional brochures, posters, lesson plans, and feedback questionnaires that we believe instill relevance and personal connection to this topic, bridging accessibility gaps for Indigenous people while seeking to promote positive and reciprocal interactions.
