Kin Instructors nominated for Coaching Manitoba Impact Awards

Three instructors from the Gupta Faculty of Kinesiology & Applied Health have been nominated for Coaching Manitoba Impact Awards.  Tanya Mckay, who is Head Coach of Wesmen Women's Basketball, and also a contract instructor for the Kinesiology Department, is nominated for Coach of the Year in the Train to Compete Category; and Alanna Boudreau, who is currently teaching "Instructing Sport: Track and Field," is nominated for the Peter Williamson Memorial Award - Train to Compete/Train to Win category.

Guy Mckim. now in his third year as a Term Instructor, will receive the Investor’s Group NCCP Coach Developer Award.

The Coaching Manitoba Impact Awards will be presented at Club Regent Event Centre April 21, 2018 to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements and significant contributions coaches have made to their athletes and their sport through coaching.
