Bergeron Recognized with Chuck Badcock Award

Congratulations to outgoing Acting Dean Dr. Glen Bergeron who was presented with the Chuck Badcock Special Recognition Award at the 2016 Annual General Meeting of the Manitoba Athletic Therapists’ Association (MATA) on June 1st. Glen was also taken by surprise by the appearance of some very special guests: his parents; his wife, Val; son Bryan and daughter, Erin.

This award, prsented by Ben Trunzo, recognizes an individual’s contributions to the profession of Athletic Therapy; it is not an annual award, but presented to recognize an individual’s outstanding contribution to the profession of Athletic Therapy in Manitoba. We congratulate Glen and thank him for his exceptional contributions, not only to Athletic Therapy, but also to the Gupta Faculty of Kinesiology & Applied Health during his appointment as Acting Dean (November 1, 2015 - June 30, 2016).
