Robin H. Farquhar Award for Excellence in Contributing to Self-Governance

Dr. David Fitzpatrick was awarded the Robin H. Farquhar Award for Excellence in Contributing to Self-Governance at the June 12th Convocation ceremony. This award was established in 1989 by the University Board of Regents in honour of Dr. Robin H. Farquhar, the third President of The University of Winnipeg.

The award recognizes a University faculty or staff member who contributes significantly to the self-governance function of the University. Dr. Farquhar valued the efforts of those who volunteer their time to serve on committees, boards, and task forces, thus maintaining the traditional and important autonomous nature of a university. Congratulations Dean Fitzpatrick!
