Biography:

Teresa was born and raised in Italy, where she received her main education. Her educational and professional journey led her to reside in various European countries, such as England, Belgium, and Spain where she pursued both work and academic opportunities. During her years of study, she focused on analysing the Italian market and the concept of Made in Italy. She wrote her Bachelors thesis on Market analysis of typical Lucanian agri-food productions, conducting an economic analysis of items bearing designation of origin recognition, including DOCG, DOC, and IGP classifications. Subsequently, she wrote her experimental masters thesis titled Analysis of the purchase intention among Italian consumers and the role of the Country of Origin Effect towards body care products. A cross-comparative study between Made in Italy, Made in France& Made in China. Finally, she pursued an additional masters degree and wrote her thesis on Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability. All the degrees were awarded with honours. Her unwavering fascination with the Italian language and culture, combined with a profound appreciation for multiculturalism, has been a consistent element in her scholarly and professional journey. Furthermore, her focused research revolved around Italy, encompassing an in-depth exploration of its market dynamics and the recognition accorded to the Made in Italylabel.
