UWinnipeg response to COVID-19

The UWinnipeg campus will remain closed to the public for the fall term. Students, faculty members, and staff who are authorized to be on site will enter via controlled access points. All must show proof of full vaccination or attest to becoming fully vaccinated and provide proof within a specified timeframe.

If you are working or studying on campus, please see the Campus Access Process for direction on how to access the University.

Undergraduate students who will not be fully vaccinated by October 15 and wish to change their fall class schedules can contact Academic Advising to investigate available remote learning alternatives; graduate students can contact their Graduate Program Chair.

In addition to the vaccination mandate, UWinnipeg’s robust return-to-campus safety plan includes other key measures such as mandatory masking, enhanced cleaning, and an upgraded ventilation system.

Getting two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine is the quickest way to returning to the complete UWinnipeg experience. Visit ProtectMB.ca to book your first or second dose appointment, get answers to commonly asked questions, sign up for your immunization card, and view other resources.

Over the summer, we encourage the entire UWinnipeg community to use the #Back2gether hashtag to share our messages and keep up to date with our campaign. Campaign graphics for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn are also available for download on the UWinnipeg Flickr.
