UW Sustainability Ambassadors

In 2023-2024 the UW Sustainability Office was able to hire 8 Sustainability Ambassadors (SAs) to work with our office to engage students on campus regarding sustainability related topics.

SAs can be found at large campus events including Orientation, Roll Call, Thrive, and tabling in high-traffic areas, such as Riddell Hall.

SAs help educate the campus community on waste education and sustainability initiatives at UW, and they also help to promote our campus sustainability surveys.

Employment:

Up to 10 hours/week - flexible working schedule
September-December & January-March
Classified as Labourer Step 3 as per the AESES Collective Agreement.
