Minor

Minors are declared at the time of graduation. Please complete the Minor declaration form using the same instructions for completing a Major form online. Once completed, please submit your form to Angela McGillivray, Department Assistant (ad.mcgillivray@uwinnipeg.ca) and Dr. Adam Scarfe, Chair (a.scarfe@uwinnipeg.ca). The department will then forward the signed form to Student Central (registration@uwinnipeg.ca).

Requirements for a minor in Philosophy

Degree: Students completing any undergraduate degree program are eligible to complete the minor. Minor: 18 credit hours in the minor subject, with a minimum of 12 credit hours above the 1000 level

Residence Requirement: Minimum 12 credit hours in the minor subject

Required courses: Any 18 credit hours in Philosophy, subject to the above requirements

Restrictions: Students cannot declare the same subject as a major and a minor
