Field-school in Paleoanthropology and Paleolithic Archaeology

Overview

BelgradeA new field-school opportunity in Paleoanthropology and Paleolithic Archaeology, offered by The University of Winnipeg in collaboration with Belgrade University and the National Museum, (Belgrade) is now available.

Open to upper undergraduate and graduate students, the field-school will take place at the Balanica cave complex, a hominin bearing Mousterian site in Southern Serbia, and Salitrena cave, the richest Aurignacian and Gravettian site in Western Serbia.

Please contact the Department of Anthropology, University of Winnipeg for more information and applications. Spaces are limited and most will be filled by the March 15th deadline. Students applying before that date have a greater chance of getting into the course.
