Biography:

Bill Kirkpatrick is a Visiting Assistant Professor in sociology, teaching in the areas of sociology of media and technology as well as health, medicine, sexuality and the body. Prior to coming to Winnipeg, he was Associate Professor in the department of Communication at Denison University in Ohio (US). He is co-editor (with Elizabeth Ellcessor) of Disability Media Studies (New York University Press, 2017), and his work has appeared in a range of journals and anthologies.
