One 3 credit hour elective

If interested in Computational Physics stream:

ACS 1903/3 Programming Fundamentals I
OR
ACS 1905/3 Programming Fundamentals**

ACS 1904/3 Programming Fundamentals II
OR
One 3 credit hour elective

If interested in Mathematical Physics stream:

MATH 1201/3 Linear Algebra I

MATH 1401/3 Discrete Math

If interested in Medical Physics stream:

BIOL 1112/6 Human Anatomy and Physiology

                                           
                                            PLUS Up to 12 credit hours (depending on stream) of electives
                              that may include RHET-1105/3 Academic Writing* and/or 6 credit hours of Humanities**

Additional Degree requirement that can be met in your first year:
Distribution: A minimum three (3) credit hours from each of five (5) different subjects.

Note: Students may use a maximum of 42 credit hours at 1000 level towards a degree.
