Book Tour

This Fall Professor Dickson went on a book tour in Europe for his latest work, Dissolving into Being: The Wisdom of Sufi Philosophy (Oxford: Anqa, 2024). 

He gave a lecture on the book at the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London, England,  held a book launch and signing at the Musée d'Art et de Culture Soufis in Paris, France, and held a seminar at the University of Fribourg in Fribourg, Switzerland.

Dissolving into Being seeks to make some of the insights of Sufi philosophy available to a broader audience, placing Sufi ideas in conversation with other religions as well as contemporary philosophies.
