Math and Science Tutoring

The University of Winnipeg's Math & Science Tutoring Centre is funded through the Dean of Science office. This funding allows us provide FREE one-to-one and small group tutoring in Applied Computer Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. We also offer test and exam reviews, as well as some limited mathematics based tutoring support for two Biology courses, specifically BIOL-1115 and 1116.

The Department of Rhetoric, Writing and Communications also offers FREE writing tutoring through their Writing Centre. (More information about writing tutoring is available on the Writing Centre  website). Both Centres operate out of the Tutoring Centre in Room 3G11. (Find us).

We provide support through all three academic terms, including both Reading Weeks, as well as both exam periods. We do not, however, provide support for a course on the day of its exam. Tutoring usually begins somewhere near the end of the second week of classes each term.

Math & Science Tutoring is provided by professional and peer tutors.
