To Go Forward With A Man Like Lovatt: Remembering a Student’s Sacrifice
For Remembrance Day, the Archives presents its new exhibit, “To Go Forward with a Man Like Lovatt: Remembering a Student’s Sacrifice”.
The exhibit highlights the recently acquired Lovatt Family Fonds. It focuses on Charles Lovatt, a Wesley College Student (1912-1916), who stopped his studies to enlist in the army and died in action in 1917. A short film about Lovatt’s life will be shown at the opening reception on November 7 at 12:30 p.m. Lovatt’s descendant, who donated the material, will also be present.
