Biography:

Professor David G. Smith graduated from The University of Western Ontario, Canada in 1975 with an Honours BA in Anthropology. He completed his MA at McGill University in 1980 and was awarded his Ph.D. Anthropology in 1987, also from McGill University. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology the University of Toronto, Mississauga, in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
