The CACW annual conference will be held at the University of Winnipeg, Manitoba, on March 6th–7th 2015.

This conference intends to consider all aspects of the ancient community, from village to city, culture to religion, and from the economy through to geography, while also examining relations between communities, between individuals within and outside them, and between communities and the state. Through the examination of these broad aspects, we intend to consider various themes that link ancient communities across time and place. The Keynote Speaker will be Keith Bradley, Eli J. and Helen Shaheen Professor Emeritus of Classics, University of Notre Dame.

The final conference program (including information concerning the rooms to be used) can be found here.

Lockhart Hall, where the conference will take place, can be found on this map.
