Conditional Status
The University of Winnipeg offers a Conditional Status Admission that allows you to start university with an average between 50% - 64.99%. To support you in your academic goals and help you work towards Regular Status (and then towards graduation!), The University of Winnipeg offers a safety net to students who enter under Conditional Status. Academic advising and tutoring services (writing, mathematics, and science) are available for free to all University of Winnipeg students, and there are specialized courses in writing, mathematics, science, English as an Additional Language, and Introduction to University.
Criteria:
- Your average is between 50% - 64.99% on the best three 40S courses including both core English 40 (A or S level) and Mathematics 40S, plus one other 40S credit from a different subject area.
- Your participation in the Writing Program is highly recommended.
- Conditional Status admission is based on final June or January grades.
