July Bead Club
In collaboration with the University of Winnipeg's Indigenous Student Services Centre and the Manitoba Métis Federation's Métis Inclusion Office, Gallery 1C03 is pleased to host July Bead Club. July’s projects have a floral theme in honour of our exhibition “Beading Métis Resurgence”.
The Métis are also known as the “flower beadwork people”. Join us to bead a floral pin or a pony bead keychain or draw a floral family design. Sessions are led by Candice Allard and Lily Gautron. All materials will be supplied and no experience needed.
Participants are welcome to attend one or more dates of this free program. The Bead Club runs on July 7, 9, 14 and 16.
