MESC Symposium

On behalf of the Master in Environmental and Social Change (MESC) graduate program, UWinnipeg faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend our annual spring thesis research presentations!

Over this two-day event, each student in the 2025 master’s cohort will deliver a 12-minute presentation based on their proposed thesis project, followed by questions from the audience. Keeping with the MESC program’s focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge translation, the students were tasked with presenting their research and its significance in the broadest possible terms for a non-specialist audience.

Daily Schedule
10:00 A.M. – Coffee Reception
10:30 A.M. – Morning Presentations
12:00 P.M. – Lunch
12:30 P.M. – Afternoon Presentations

Come out, support our MESC students, engage with the work they are proposing, ask them questions, talk to them one-on-one, and help them refine their proposal before they head out to the field!

The second MESC Symposium date is April 6. See details.
