Call for members for Arts Award Committees - Deadline extended

If members wish to serve on either the committee for the Arts Teaching Award or for the Arts Research Award for 2026, the deadline has been extended to May 1, 2026. Please communicate your intent to serve, and on which committee, to the Faculty of Arts Office (artsoffice@uwinnipeg.ca) by that deadline.

The Faculty of Arts Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award Committee and Excellence in Research Award Committee evaluate all 2026 award submissions received by the Faculty of Arts to determine a recipient for each category.

COMMITTEES

Each Committee will be composed of 4 (four) members: the Dean of Arts, Tracy Whalen, and 3 (three) selected volunteers for the Faculty Excellence in Research Award Committee; and the Associate Dean of Arts, Brandon Christopher, and 3 (three) selected volunteers for the Faculty Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award Committee.

A total of 6 (six) volunteers will be selected and notified of their committee’s schedule once a decision has been made by the Faculty of Arts Office.

Interested parties should communicate their intent to serve, and on which committee, to the Faculty of Arts Office (artsoffice@uwinnipeg.ca) by MAY 1, 2026.
