Candida Rifkind will be on a panel at the Priaire Comics Fest titled “Comics in Academia” to be held at the Millennium Library from 12:30-1:15pm on May 6th, 2017. Three professors and teachers in higher education will discuss the role of comics and graphic novels and provide their recommended reading for students of the medium. The other participants are Kenneth MacKendrick (University of Manitoba and Dan Vadeboncoeur (Red River College).
