Indigenous Studies Department, Indigenous Affairs, and Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Centre

The Indigenous Studies department in partnership with the Office of Indigenous Affairs is pleased to offer another set of Intensive language courses beginning in August!

The course runs on campus August 14-18, 2017 and in the Riding Mountain area from August 26-31, 2017 inclusively.

This intensive language course will have hands on opportunities such as medicine teachings, beading, and song teachings.

A number of community spots are available for those who would like to participate but are not seeking university credit for the course. For more information on the community spots please contact Angeline Nelson at before submitting the application form below. Selected applicants will have their transportation, accommodations, and meals covered for the off-campus portion of the course. The on-campus portion of the course will include lunch and tranportation for the field trip.

Students may register for either the Introduction or Intermediate Ojibwe level (providing you already have the introduction credit).
