Nyala Ali is a freelance editor and comics journalist who holds an M.A. in Cultural Studies from the University of Winnipeg. She is a member of the Prairie Comics Festival planning committee and has been a comics panelist on topics such as race, sexuality, gender and education. Nyala's work has been published in Herizons Magazine, the Winnipeg Free Press and on the Eisner-nominated online magazine Women Write about Comics.
