VR

You could be in Hong Kong and feel like you are lifting weights with students inside UWinnipeg’s Duckworth Centre fitness facility or standing in the middle of the University’s library. Working with Campfire Union, a Winnipeg company founded by talented UWinnipeg graduates, The University of Winnipeg is introducing an immersive experience that can give potential students anywhere a visual panorama of life on campus.

While the authentic VR tour must be viewed with 3D goggles, a less immersive but entirely 360-degree experience is available by viewing the content on a smartphone or computer. If you are viewing this page on a computer, simply click and drag the image above (or the ones found via the links at left) to get a 360-degree look at select parts of UWinnipeg's campus. Check back in future, as additional locations will be added!

Note: these videos are meant for desktop or laptop computer viewing (Chrome or Firefox). Mobile users can get a first-person 360-degree experience byviewing the files via the mobile YouTube app or the mobile Facebook app.
