Biography: Expertise: B.A. (French) - University of Winnipeg, 1981; L.L.C. - University of Manitoba, 1985.

Sherri was appointed in 2011 to act as Commission Counsel to the Phoenix Sinclair Inquiry. From 2001 to 2011, she sat as a part time Chair of the Appeal Commission for the Worker's Compensation Board of Manitoba, representing the public interest. Sherri has been an adjudicator under the Manitoba Human Rights Code since 2007 and, in 2012, was appointed Chief Adjudicator under the Code. For eight years, Sherri taught Introduction to Civil Procedure to second-year law students at Robson Hall. She has served on many committees for the Law Society of Manitoba and has been recognized by the Manitoba Bar Association for her pro bono work. Sherri served for four years as President of the Board of Winnipeg Harvest, during which time she chaired a successful capital campaign for the construction of a LEED Silver-Certified building, which opened its doors in 2011, to better serve food bank clients and volunteers. In 2016 Sherri received the Nellie McClung Award in recognition of the work she does to promote social justice in Manitoba.
