Meeting our University sustainability goals depends on the participation and creativity of our community. The Campus Sustainability Office (CSO) supports students, faculty and staff in making our communities more healthy and resilient.

  5. PARTICIPATE IN GRASS ROUTES

    Grass Routes in an annual, multi-day event co-hosted by the UWSA and UWinnipeg Campus Sustainability Office showcasing ideas, skills, art, music and food relating to environmental sustainability and social justice.share events or initiatives happening on campus or in the wider community.  Check out the festival website to see this year's program or email sustainability@uwinnipeg.ca if you'd like to host a workshop or join the planning committee.  All staff faculty and students are welcome!


  6. SHARE OPPORTUNITIES

    If your're department or organization is working on an event, initiative or project that would benifit from the involvement of others on campus, click here to tell us about it.  The CSO can support your work by sharing events on our calendar and newsletter, and by helping to recruit participants for volunteer opportunities.


  7. INTEGRATE SUSTAINABILITY IN YOUR ACADEMIC WORK

    Consider courses, research, and experiential learning opportunities that integrate sustainability. 


  8. BE A GREEN OFFICE REPRESENTATIVE

    Participate in the Green Office program, as an individual or a group.


  9. SUSTAINABILITY AWARD

    Nominate someone for a Sustainability Recognition Award.


  10. INVITE THE CSO

    We are happy to provide presentations to your office, department, class, or group about creating a more sustainable workplace and about initiatives and opportunities on campus. Contact us!
