Immigration Live Webinars 

As a result of Covid-19, IIRCC recently made significant changes to your study permit conditions and to international travel. To better understand these changes, The University of Winnipeg Immigration Advisor will be hosting live webinars to discuss current changes and answer your questions.

On the date of the Webinar, a link will be emailed to all students.

Academic Advising Virtual Drop-ins

International, Immigrant and Refugee Student Services (IIRSS) is now offering virtual drop-in sessions every Tuesday and Thursday where students can speak with an Academic Advisor one-on-one. The Zoom waiting room will be enabled. One student will be admitted at a time.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 - 11:00 am

Travel, Arrival and Quarantine Protocols

This webinar is designed to provide undergraduate students with the following updates:

- Latest immigration updates from IRCC and Province of Manitoba related to student travel and quarantines

- UWinnipeg’s plan to support students in safe and legal travel

- Step by step instructions for travellers on how to safely prepare, travel and arrive in Canada

- Elements of a quarantine plan and option for university-supported quarantines
