As a student at the University of Winnipeg, you have different options to report the incident of sexual misconduct. Sexual Misconduct falls under the Respectful Workplace and Learning Environment Policy (RWLE) and includes incidents of sexual harassment and discrimination. The UW Human Rights and Diversity Officer is available to guide you through the process of reporting under the RWLE policy.

The Human Rights and Diversity Officer  advises by providing:

  • Options available for resolving your claim, including informal resolutions, or opening an investigation for a formal complaint and resolution
  • Resources available for resolution
  • Options for filing a written complaint
  • Available University and community supports and resources, such as Counselling Services and Klinic

The University is dedicated to respecting your privacy and confidentiality; however, a formal complaint under the RWLE  will require your identity to be disclosed to the respondent.
