What is Sexual Assault?

Sexual Assault is defined as any sexual activity or touching with any object or body part of another person without consent or by force. This includes:

  • Unwanted touching or fondling
  • Forcing a person to perform a sexual activity
  • Forced or unwanted penetration
  • The person is unable to give consent due to being asleep, unconscious, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances
  • Threatening of sexual assault
