1. How do I access my courses?

If your course is placed in Nexus, then you need to log into Nexus and find your course there. For more information about how to access Nexus click here.

2. When do courses start?

A general rule of thumb is that course start dates are set to start in Nexus to coincide with the start date of the semester although this is not always the case. For information on when a specific course is supposed to start, contact the instructor for the course.

3. Why is a course I’m registered for not visible on Nexus when I sign in?

There are several reasons why a course you are registered for is not visible in Nexus:

  • If you have only registered for the course within the last 24 hours, the registration may not be processed yet. Please wait 24-48 hours after registering for a course to appear in Nexus.
  • The course hasn’t started. If the course has not yet started, it will not be visible in Nexus. If you are unsure about when your course is supposed to start, contact the instructor for that course for further information.
  • The instructor may not be using the Nexus for this course. Contact the instructor to see if the course is available online in Nexus.

4. The wrong course is showing in Nexus, what do I do?

If the wrong course is showing up in Nexus, this means that you are enrolled in the wrong course. Please contact Student Central for further help with this matter.

5. How can I access the Syllabus for the course if it isn’t visible on Nexus yet?

Please wait until the course start date to see if the instructor offers a Syllabus on Nexus. If the syllabus is not provided or you have further questions about course requirements, contact the course instructor.

6. Why is a course I unenrolled from still showing up in the Nexus?

Contact Nexus Support and request to be removed from the course that you may not have been unenrolled from.

7. How do I pin courses using the "Select a Course" dropdown?

 To pin courses to the top of the Course Selector:

  1. Click on Select a Course:



  2. Click on View all Courses:



  3. Start typing the name of the course that you wish to pin or find it by searching in the "Search for a course"

  4. Select the Pin icon to the right of the course to pin it to the top of the list:



  5. Now you can see the course is pinned:
