Fire Safety

Fire Safety Program at the University of Winnipeg is a shared program between the safety office, engineering team (facilities) and the risk management department. The role of safety office in Fire Safety is to provide services to the university workers for appropriate fire prevention and emergency response. 

The Safety Office Fire Safety Program includes:

1. Conducting fire drills
2. Fire Warden Training
3. Fire Extinguisher Training

Fire Warden and Fire Extinguisher training is delivered in-person by Manager, Safety and Health and is scheduled as needed. Please send an email to Kevin Smith if you need to attend the training.
