'Made-in-Canada' Athena SWAN Information Sessions

Tue. Sep. 4, 2018

As you may know, the Government of Canada is adopting a “made-in-Canada” Athena SWAN (Scientific Women's Academic Network) program, as part of Minister Duncan’s commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in research.

Over the past few months, consultations and information sessions have been hosted across the country to seek researcher views on how best to implement, maximize and assess the impacts of the Athena SWAN initiative.

In the coming weeks, individuals are invited to participate in any of the following information briefings. In these sessions, NSERC will provide a brief presentation about the program, and answer questions.

It is also encouraged you submit your ideas for a “made-in-Canada” Athena SWAN initiative here.

Information sessions are scheduled for the following dates and times:

English Session:                                1:00 to 2:00 pm (EST)

French Session:                                2:30 to 3:30 pm (EST)
