WORKSHOP 1: Seed Starting and Gardening

Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 | 12:00-1:00pm | via Zoom

At the first workshop, we'll here stories from our presenter's life as a farmer, gardener, plant nurturer, and DIY enthusiast. Then, we'll learn how to start seeds before the outdoor planting season. There will be lots of time for questions and discussion

We would like to invite all UWinnipeg staff to join us as we will go through how to start vegetable seeds! The UWinnipeg Spring Garden Party seed kits from Polluck's Hardware will be used in this demonstration.

Each seed starting kit contains:
- 3L peat-free potting mix
- 6 seeds of each lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers
- 8 x 3" CowPots

If you did not order a seed starting kit but would like to join our seed starting workshop, please feel free! This workshop will be held over Zoom, please RSVP here and we will send you the meeting link and password.

*This workshop will be recorded on speaker view, but if you do not wish to be recorded you may choose to keep your video turned off.
