WRESTLERS WIN FOUR MEDALS AT CIS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The University of Winnipeg Wesmen Wrestling teams won four medals (2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze) on the final day of the CIS Wrestling Championships Saturday afternoon at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

Male wrestlers Finn Higgins (90 kg) and Kyle Nguyen (120 kg) are National Champions after their gold medal wins. Aleksandr Sofronov is a National Champion-Runner Up winning a silver medal in the 76 kg weight class.

Rachel Alder was victorious in her bronze medal match in the 51 kg weight class.
